Job summary

Rexel USA is seeking a Truck Driver to join the Mayer Team in Charlottesville, VA. This role delivers products to customers and branch locations using a delivery van or box truck, with no CDL required.

Responsibilities include inspecting the vehicle, documenting deliveries, loading/unloading, following DOT and state regulations, and assisting with orders as needed. Compensation varies with experience and performance.

Qualifications

• Must attend driver training if no experience
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must pass pre-employment and annual Motor Vehicle Record review
• Must obtain a non-expired medical certificate within 60 days of hire
• Must not have had a suspended license or at-fault accidents in the past 3 years

Responsibilities

• Inspect the vehicle for defects and complete a daily inspection report
• Keep the vehicle clean and report maintenance needs
• Follow DOT, local and state driving laws and regulations
• Load/unload materials and verify order quantity/type are correct and undamaged
• Assist in preparing orders for delivery and ensure proper documentation
