Job summary

Crawford Electric Supply in West Monroe, LA is seeking a Delivery Driver to support timely and safe delivery of electrical products to contractors and customers. You will load, secure, and transport materials, verify counts, and maintain accurate delivery records while providing excellent customer service.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, ability to pass a DOT physical, and basic literacy. A high school diploma and some related experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required by Crawford.
• Ability to pass DOT physical exam.
• Six months or more related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required.
• Manual dexterity required for operating machinery and handling small parts.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Ensures good customer relations through on-time deliveries and professional conduct.
• Transport and delivery of goods in a timely manner.
• Pick materials for orders, load/unload, and manifest ship tickets.
• Safely secure loads and ensure weight compliance.
• Verify freight count and condition.
• Prepare receipt for load pickup or delivery.
• Collect payments for delivered goods and delivery charges.
• Maintain contact with manager for delivery instructions.
• Support warehouse duties when no deliveries are scheduled.
• Keep work areas clean and orderly.
• Adhere to all processes and quality control standards.
