Job summary

Aaron Sales And Leasing is hiring a Delivery Driver in Rockford, IL. The role involves driving, installing, moving, and demonstrating merchandise, with store-based duties and customer interactions both inside and outside the store.

The role offers a pay range of $18.00 to $18.75 per hour, plus benefits. You will support daily operations, coordinate with the team, and engage with customers in the community. Relevant qualifications and a valid driver's license are required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age for positions in the United States and at least 18 in Canada.
• Requires a valid state driver’s license and compliance with the Company’s Driver Qualification Policy, including a satisfactory MVR.
• Must be able to obtain DOT certification if required for location.
• Ability to work a schedule with hours from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
• Lift up to 50 lbs independently and up to 300 lbs with equipment/assistance.
• Ability to work in all outdoor weather conditions, including rain and summer heat.
• Preferred: experience moving household furnishings and appliances.
• Preferred: high school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Preferred: excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Preferred: maintain a professional appearance.

Responsibilities

• Stage, load, and securely stage products, and safely operate the company vehicle.
• Unload, install, and demonstrate merchandise.
• Assist with cleaning and organizing merchandise within the store.
• Maintain accurate daily route sheets and weekly maintenance sheets.
