Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires a valid California drivers license and good DMV record.
• Forklift certification is required.
• Able to operate forklift, pallet jack and related warehouse equipment.
• Ability to perform load/unload safely and follow sanitation and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Participate in delivery and distribution functions; load and unload shipments.
• Drive a vehicle along assigned routes to pick up and deliver items, mail, food and supplies.
• Ensure proper temperature and handling of food items; rotate inventory as needed.
• Sort and process mail items; learn postal regulations and assist with bulk mailing.
• Maintain records related to food items, orders, inventory and monies.
• Operate mailroom and warehouse equipment as assigned and report issues.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly warehouse and vehicle condition.
• Perform periodic vehicle safety inspections and replenish fluids as needed.
