Job summary

The Sherwin-Williams Company is seeking a delivery driver to operate from Store #704304 in Birmingham, AL. You will load, transport, and deliver paint and related products to customers, ensuring accuracy, safety, and timeliness.

Responsibilities include providing excellent customer service, following routes, and maintaining vehicle, while complying with DOT MEC requirements and lifting up to 70 lbs as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Must have a valid, unrestricted Driver's License.
• Must have a valid DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC).
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 70 lbs occasionally.
• Must be able to read and speak English sufficiently.

Responsibilities

• Prepare deliveries to meet customer requirements efficiently.
• Load customer orders properly onto the truck.
• Deliver items to customers safely and on time.
• Maintain the store vehicle and report maintenance needs.
• Provide excellent customer service and address questions or complaints.
• Follow assigned routes and time schedules.
• Adhere to transportation laws and maintain a safe driving record.
• Complete reports and documents related to deliveries.
• Operate vehicles and related equipment such as cars, trucks, forklifts.
• Perform warehouse duties as needed.
