Job summary

Sherwin-Williams in Mobile, AL is hiring a delivery driver to transport products from our store to customers. You will load orders, ensure accurate delivery, maintain the vehicle, and provide excellent service while complying with safety and DOT requirements.

Must be 21+, legally eligible to work in the U.S., and hold a valid Driver’s License with a MEC or ability to obtain one. Lifting up to 50 lbs frequently is required; some shifts may include evenings or weekends.

Qualifications

• Must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Must have a valid, unrestricted Driver’s License.
• Must have a valid Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC) from a DOT-licensed medical examiner or willing to obtain within five business days of conditional offer.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 70 lbs occasionally.
• Must be able to work evenings and weekends as scheduled.
• Must read and speak English sufficiently to converse with the public and complete reports.

Responsibilities

• Ensure deliveries are prepared to meet customer requirements efficiently.
• Load customer orders correctly on the truck and secure cargo.
• Complete required forms and deliver items safely and promptly.
• Maintain the store vehicle and report repair needs to a supervisor.
• Provide excellent customer service and handle inquiries or complaints.
• Adhere to assigned routes and time schedules; follow all transportation laws.
