Job summary

The Kendall Group is seeking a Delivery Driver II to drive and operate a delivery truck, move cargo between customer locations, and assist in warehouse tasks when not delivering. You will contribute to efficient logistics, adhere to safety standards, and support a multi-location distribution network.

Requirements include a CDL Class A, ability to pass a DOT Medical Exam with a 1-year card, a high school diploma or GED, and at least two years of driving experience.

Qualifications

• Work Experience: 2 years of prior driving experience.
• Education: High School Diploma or GED.
• Licenses/Certifications: CDL Class A required; ability to pass DOT Medical Exam and obtain 1-Year Card.

Responsibilities

• Drive product to various customer locations.
• Load and unload trucks according to established procedures.
• Complete daily shipping paperwork.
• Check assigned equipment for proper operation and communicate problems to the Delivery Supervisor.
• Accurately identify and count inventory in assigned areas.
• Learn how to operate warehouse equipment including forklifts and hand trucks.
• Participate in ongoing general housekeeping of warehouse and delivery vehicles.
• Follow safe work habits and established safety procedures.
• Safely operate additional warehouse equipment.
• Attend meetings and training sessions.
• Perform other warehouse tasks as assigned.
