Job summary

The YMCA is seeking a Meal Delivery Driver to support our Food and Fun Team by delivering healthy meals to children in our community. The role runs Monday through Friday from 9:30am to 4pm, with training and orientation included.

Responsibilities include organizing meals, ensuring timely sponsor site deliveries, assisting with food prep as directed, and maintaining clean delivery equipment. The position requires a clean driving record and the ability to work with diverse populations.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ with a clean driving record.
• Valid Tennessee or Georgia driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work with diverse populations.
• Familiarity with Google Docs and email preferred.

We are in need of a Meal Delivery Driver who can work shifts each Monday through Friday from 9:30am-4pm.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Organize meals and materials based on site-specific preferences
• Ensure timely drop‑off and pick‑up at sponsor site locations
• Assist with food preparation as directed by kitchen manager
• Maintain cleanliness inside the delivery vehicle and production facility
• Operate delivery equipment and vehicle safely
• Clean delivery equipment daily
• Collect, check, and verify records

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be 21 years of age or older with a clean driving record

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Agility and mobility to perform job functions, including standing, bending, lifting up to 50+ lbs. multiple times daily, hearing, and seeing

TRAINING:

• CPR, First Aid & AED certification required within the first 30 days of employment
• New Employee Orientation required within the first week of employment
• Additional program‑specific training required within the first week of hire
