Job summary

A leading logistics company is seeking a Delivery Driver Helper to assist in transporting goods to customers. The ideal candidate will be customer-focused, capable of heavy lifting, and available to work weekends. Responsibilities include loading/unloading items and assisting the driver in vehicle maneuvers. Experience with box trucks is a plus.

Delivery Driver Helper Duties and Responsibilities

1. Be CUSTOMER OBSESSED!
2. Assist the delivery driver in the safe and timely transport of goods to customers
3. Assist driver with parking, backing up, and maneuvering of the vehicle
4. Assist driver with contact compliance
5. Load and unload items from the delivery vehicle
6. Perform heavy lifting of packages and products
7. Maintain cleanliness and organization of delivery vehicle

Qualifications:

Delivery Driver Helper Basic Requirements

• Eligible to work in the U.S.
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Must be available to work weekends
• Must be able to safely work with heavy, bulky packages up to 300 lbs
• Must be committed to excellent customer service
• Having a Driver's license is a PLUS
• Experience with box trucks, tractor-trailers, and refrigerated trailers is a PLUS
• Proficient in heavy lifting techniques and able to lift heavy items repeatedly is a PLUS
• Familiarity with operating pallet jacks for moving goods is a PLUS
• Commercial driving experience is a PLUS
• Knowledge of warehouse operations and courier services is a PLUS
