Job Summary

The Driver Helper will be responsible for delivering orders to customers on time and in good condition, maintaining a professional demeanor, and using preferred work methods to perform the job safely and successfully while satisfying the customer.

Responsibilities

1. Unload and verify all returning products with the appropriate check-in personnel.
2. Pad, stack, and secure items to prevent damage during shipment.
3. Deliver and stack merchandise on customer premises.
4. May operate company non-commercial vehicle to deliver a product to the customer as directed by the Transportation Supervisor.
5. Accurately count and deliver orders.
6. Assist Drivers off-load products to customers.
7. Able to lift up to 90 lbs. (Average case weight is 50 lbs.)
8. Load and unload the truck and/or company vehicles using hand or mechanical aids.
9. Deliver food and related items to customers from trailer to specified location.
10. Work overtime as required.
11. Participate in safety awareness efforts and perform duties safely.
12. Adhere to work schedule and attendance standards, and be punctual.

Qualifications

• Must obtain a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) within 90 days of start date to remain employed.

Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Experience

• Two-wheel dolly experience.
• Equipment operation experience.

Physical Demands
