Job summary

IBT is seeking a Delivery Driver to support branch operations in the United States. You will drive company trucks to deliver to industrial customers, receive freight, and print pick tickets, while maintaining professional communication with customers and store staff.

The role requires a valid driver's license with a clean record, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and proficiency with Epicor P-21, Google and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Ability to understand technical products and explain them to others.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to effectively present information and respond to customer questions and information.
• Ability to learn through both written word and online training.
• Strong ability to use computers and technology to improve efficiency and effectively communicate information, including, but not limited to the Epicor P-21 (preferred), Google and Microsoft Suites.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Drive 1/2 ton or 3/4 ton pickup truck and make deliveries and interact with the receiving personnel of our industrial customers (CDL isnotrequired, however an active Driver's License is required).
• Receive daily, truck, UPS, FEDEX freight and print pick tickets.
• Assist in maintaining good vendor relations at the branch location level.
• Maintain open, productive communication between the Store Manager and other personnel at the branch.
• Promote a positive attitude to IBT co-workers, branches, vendors and customers, while promoting all of IBT’s products and services.
• Keep the warehouse and delivery truck clean and maintained.
• Other duties as assigned.
