Job summary

Coastal Elite Pro is seeking a driver to safely transport products from our warehouse to customers across the Houston area and beyond. You will ensure timely deliveries, verify paperwork, and uphold food safety and sanitation standards while maintaining vehicle cleanliness.

The role requires a Class A CDL, the ability to operate large trucks, and strong communication skills to build positive customer relationships. You will work in varying weather conditions and adhere to DOT/Hazmat regulations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Valid Class A CDL required.
• 1 year tractor-trailer experience preferred or driving school completed.

Role

The driver is responsible for safely transporting products from the warehouse to customers, ensuring timely and proper delivery according to company standards.

• Key Duties: Unloading products by hand or using a hand cart, completing accurate paperwork, adhering to food safety protocols, maintaining vehicle sanitation, and developing good customer relationships.
• Operations: Operate tractor-trailers and equipment safely in various weather and traffic conditions, report issues, and follow safety regulations and work methods.
• Qualifications: High school diploma or GED preferred; valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License required; at least 1 year of tractor trailer experience preferred or completion of a driving school.
• Skills & Abilities: Knowledge of DOT and Hazmat regulations, safe lifting practices; strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills; ability to operate large vehicles, read/write in English, perform basic math, and handle hazardous and perishable items.
• Physical & Environmental Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, push/pull heavy loads, climb in/out of vehicles, and work in varying weather conditions, including exposure to fumes, noise, and confined spaces.
