Job description

Role:

Responsible for safely and efficiently transporting products from the warehouse to customers via tractor trailer, ensuring proper delivery, unloading, and adherence to company standards.

Key Duties:

Unloading products manually or with equipment, completing accurate paperwork, maintaining food safety protocols, developing good customer relationships, and performing additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED preferred, with at least one year of tractor trailer driving experience or completion of a driving school. Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License required.

Skills & Abilities:

Knowledge of DOT regulations, safe lifting practices, and hazard guidelines. Proficiency in long-distance driving, effective communication, problem-solving, basic math, and operating various equipment. Ability to handle hazardous and perishable goods, and to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds.

Physical & Work Environment:

Regular sitting, lifting, reaching, and climbing; exposure to varying weather, noise, and occasional hazardous conditions. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, while maintaining alertness and safety.
