The Role
We are looking for a Delivery Driver responsible for delivering cannabis products to Green Thumb's customers. The role involves safely transporting products, maintaining delivery schedules, and providing exceptional customer service. A passion for driving, excellent communication skills, and reliability are essential.
Responsibilities
- Load the delivery van at the start of the day for scheduled deliveries
- Interpret and follow state laws and regulations related to medical cannabis delivery
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance (changing tires, checking and adding fluids, etc.)
- Manage delivery documentation, ensuring proper records are kept and manifests are completed and filed
- Maintain professional relationships with dispensary staff
- Communicate effectively when issues arise during deliveries
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications
- At least one year of professional driving experience preferred
- Must be 21 years or older
- Pass required background checks, including Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) and industry-specific requirements
- Comply with all legal and company regulations in the industry
- Availability to work varying shifts, including mornings, days, nights, and weekends
- Reliable, responsible, and dependable attendance
Additional Requirements
Ability to perform tasks for prolonged periods, including:
- Moving around dispensary and delivery areas to assist customers
- Remaining stationary in a vehicle to complete deliveries
- Communicating with individuals and groups
- Operating point of sale systems, computers, and office machinery
- Preparing customer orders
- Handling detailed information like dates of birth and order inquiries
- Moving inventory and materials weighing up to 30 pounds
- Positioning self to move inventory in storage areas
Skills
- Excellent customer service skills
