Job description

We are looking for a Delivery Driver who will be responsible for delivering cannabis products to Green Thumb's customers. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting products, maintaining delivery schedules, and upholding exceptional customer service standards. The role requires a passion for driving, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to reliability.

Responsibilities

1. Load the delivery van at the beginning of the day for deliveries that will happen throughout the day
2. Interpret and execute state laws and regulations required when delivering medical cannabis
3. Working knowledge of vehicle maintenance and ability to complete routine maintenance tasks (changing tires, check and add fluids, etc)
4. Manage documents associated with medical cannabis delivery, ensuring that proper documents are kept, and manifests are returned completed and ready for filing
5. Maintain positive, professional relationships with dispensary staff
6. Communicate timely and effectively when issues arise while making deliveries
7. Other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications

1. At least one year of professional driving experience preferred
2. Must be 21 years or older
3. Must pass required background checks, including Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) and state specific cannabis employment requirements
4. Must be and remain compliant with all legal or company regulations for working in the industry
5. Meet the scheduling and availability requirements (i.e., ability to work a schedule inclusive of varying shifts such as mornings, days, nights, and weekends) to meet business needs
6. Must have reliable, responsible, and dependable attendance

Additional Requirements

Must have the ability to perform the following tasks for prolonged periods of time (i.e., up to the duration of a workday)

1. Move about the dispensary and delivery areas to fulfill work assignments and assist patients and/or customers in various locations
2. Remain in a stationary position, including in a motor vehicle, to meet the needs of the business and complete delivery tasks timely
3. Converse and communicate with individuals and groups of people directly
4. Operate point of sale system, computer, and other office productivity machinery in order to use online programming and software including word processing, database management, spreadsheet applications and email
5. Prepare patient and/customer orders by moving and placing products
6. Inspect and receive detailed information, such as patients' and/or customers' dates of birth, in-store or online orders, or inquiries
7. Move inventory and materials weighing up to 30 pounds independently
8. Position self to move inventory and materials in storage areas

Skills

8. Operate with a high level of professionalism and integrity, including dealing with confidential information and complying with HIPAA requirements.

Working Conditions
