Delivery Driver for Spur Logistics - Delivering Amazon Packages

• Full-time
• Job Type: Permanent
• Compensation: up to USD 21.25 - hourly

Spur Logistics is an Amazon delivery service partner that delivers Amazon packages in the greater Charlotte, NC area.

Full Time (4 days) & Part Time (3 days) positions available.

Driver Responsibilities

• Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport packages to designated locations within fifty miles of Charlotte, NC.
• Load and unload packages up to 50 pounds, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
• Handle the physical aspect of the job when completing 150 - 199 stops in all weather conditions.
• Walk 6-8 miles a day during an extended period of time, and move with a purpose.
• Climb several flights of stairs throughout the day.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with recipients.
• Adhere to traffic laws and company policies while driving.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and report any issues to management.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety.
• No CDL required for this position.

Work environment can include all kinds of weather (rain, sun, cold, heat).

Basic Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years old and have a valid driver's license.
• Must be willing to submit to a drug screen.
• Must have a seven year clean driving record with no more than two marks on the record total.
• Must be in good physical shape to walk 5-7 miles during delivery day and deliver up to 190 delivery stops per day, finishing route safely in 10.5 hours.
• Must possess a great work ethic, attitude, and be extremely reliable.
• Must be willing to work at least Saturday or Sunday on weekends.
• Drivers will work a 10.5 hour shift with a four day work week.
• Hours are day shift and a schedule of 9:20am-7:45pm.
• Drivers are given two fifteen minute breaks and one thirty minute lunch break per shift.
• Drivers will be provided use of an Amazon branded van, uniforms, and work cell phone each day to navigate routes, deliver packages, and access customer delivery information.
• Paid training is provided.
