Job summary

AutoZone is seeking a Delivery Driver to provide exceptional customer service, deliver auto parts to commercial customers and DIY shoppers, and support store operations. You will drive company vehicles, handle loads, collect returns, and follow safety policies while upselling and assisting customers with product knowledge.

The role requires a valid driver's license, 18+ age, and flexibility to work a full-time schedule including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license and safety compliance.
• Basic knowledge of automotive parts.
• Ability to lift, load and deliver merchandise.
• Full-time flexible schedule including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Bilingual Spanish/English is a plus.
• Hazmat endorsement is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver WOW! Customer Service by engaging with commercial customers and DIY shoppers, providing clear and professional automotive advice and offering installation services.
• Work closely with store personnel and commercial accounts, ensuring smooth team collaboration and strong customer relationships.
• Maintain efficient delivery operations, meeting time and accuracy goals while following company policies.
• Drive company-provided vehicles, ensuring safe and timely deliveries of automotive parts to commercial customers. Load and unload parts accurately per route schedules.
• Collect returns, cores, and parts from nearby stores or outside vendors.
• Adhere to PPE guidelines and fleet safety policies to maintain a safe driving and working environment.
• Process customer payments securely and in accordance with company policies.
• Stay updated on promotions and automotive products through AutoZone systems. Maintain delivery vehicles and report any issues promptly.
