Summary

The Sheriffs Ranches Enterprises, Inc. is a nonprofit charitable organization which was formed to provide direct support to the Florida Sheriffs Youth Ranches. Revenue is raised for the Florida Sheriffs Youth Ranches through the sale of gifts in kind ("non-cash") received by the organization, which are sold at one of our thrift stores, our vehicle sales lot located in Live Oak, or through eBay or sealed bid auctions.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Assist the Senior Field Representative in picking up and transporting donated items from donors to the Sheriffs Ranches Thrift Store to which they are assigned.
• Assist in the upkeep of the thrift store warehouse.
• Be familiar with the entire process of non‑cash gifts including the process of issuing non‑cash receipts to donors.
• Ensure proper appearance and care of the equipment used in the non‑cash area.
• Assure that all safety precautions are taken when transporting items.
• Represent the Florida Sheriffs Youth Ranches and Sheriffs Ranches Enterprises in a positive manner to customers, donors, and the general public. Provide exceptional customer service.

Education and Experience Requirements

The person filling this position is required to have a high school diploma and a valid Florida driver’s license.

Pay: $17.00 per hour
