Job summary

Desert Compass Logistics, a Delivery Service Partner of Amazon, is hiring delivery associates in Flagstaff, AZ. The role involves driving a delivery van, conducting pre-trip inspections, delivering to homes and businesses, and maintaining safety and vehicle condition.

Full-time hours (32+ hours/week) with potential overtime and weekend shifts are common. Starting pay is $23.00–$24.00 per hour, with paid training and benefits.

Qualifications

• Must consent to drug screening.
• Must be at least 21 years or older.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record; able to pass a MVR check.
• Valid AZ driver’s license.
• Able to speak and communicate in English.
• Must be tech-savvy and operate a Smartphone/GPS with a scanner and apps.
• Must observe all traffic rules and safety policies.
• Must lift 50 lbs during an 8–10 hour shift.
• Must handle stressful workloads and driving demands.
• Must be able to walk, climb stairs, reach overhead, squat, bend, kneel, stoop and crouch repeatedly.

Responsibilities

• Deliver packages to customers’ homes, retail, and business locations.
• Interacting professionally with customers and the public.
• Perform safety inspections on the delivery vehicle.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and fuel level.
• Assist in training other team members when needed.
• Contribute to in-station tasks and sortation as required.
• Provide rescue assistance to other drivers after completing routes.
