Job summary

QXO in North America is hiring a delivery associate to safely transport materials to job sites and customers. You will perform pre- and post-trip inspections, verify quantities, and process required paperwork with accuracy.

The role requires a valid driver's license, forklift experience, and strong communication with customers and team members. You’ll work in diverse weather and environments, abiding by PPE and safety policies.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license in good standing.
• Ability to obtain a DOT Medical Card within 30 days.
• Experience operating a forklift.
• Prior experience in direct customer interaction.
• Effective communication with colleagues, vendors, and customers.
• Adaptability to work in diverse environments and adverse weather.

Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles safely and efficiently in compliance with traffic laws and company policies.
• Deliver materials to job sites and customer locations accurately and on time.
• Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and report issues.
• Verify materials, quantities, and delivery details before and after delivery.
• Obtain required documentation, such as signatures or proof of delivery.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs and complete required paperwork.
• Interact professionally with customers and job site personnel.
• Address questions or concerns and ensure a positive delivery experience.
• Load, unload, and secure materials to prevent damage during transport.
• Assist with returns, exchanges, or corrections as needed.
• Support warehouse or yard operations, including staging and organizing materials.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures, including proper use of PPE.
• Report any accidents, incidents, or unsafe conditions promptly.
• Perform additional duties as needed to support business operations.
