The position involves delivering products to stores on established routes or via dynamic dispatch to various retail locations such as convenience stores, gas stations, small supermarkets, and drug stores, with an average of 15-20 stops per day. The driver is responsible for unloading products, stocking shelves, displays, vending equipment, and coolers, and setting up promotional materials like signage and banners. Additionally, the role includes generating invoices, settling cash and charges daily, and interacting frequently with store management.

This labor-intensive role requires lifting, loading, and pushing/pulling 20-45 pound cases repeatedly, along with reaching, squatting, and bending during deliveries and merchandising in various weather conditions. Long hours may be necessary during peak seasons.

PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

1. Deliver products, serve customers, and execute promotions across multiple stores daily.
2. Operate trucks requiring an appropriate CDL license, including basic maneuvers like driving forward, backward, and navigating tight spaces.
3. Service all scheduled customers by the end of each shift.
4. Merchandise and rotate products according to local standards, including stocking shelves, building displays, removing outdated products, and maintaining cleanliness.
5. Use pallet jacks, hand trucks, and breakdowns to move products to and from the truck.
6. Build positive relationships with primary contacts at each account.
7. Follow operating procedures, including scan-in/scan-out and adhering to designated routes.
8. Communicate effectively with customers, building rapport and attentiveness to their needs.
9. Comply with DOT regulations.
10. Maintain regular, reliable, and predictable attendance.
