Job summary

SouthernCarlson, Inc. is seeking a Delivery Driver for a full-time, daytime schedule in the Tacoma, WA area. The role involves on-site work delivering tools, fasteners, and materials to various locations, while providing courteous customer service and supporting occasional warehouse tasks.

The ideal candidate will have a valid U.S. driver’s license with a clean record, the ability to lift 50–75 lbs, and 1+ year of delivery experience, preferably in construction or industrial settings.

Responsibilities

• Report vehicle, delivery, or route issues promptly.

Job Description

We’re hiring a Delivery Driver who enjoys being on the road, interacting with customers, and contributing to a team-focused environment. This role is essential to delivering SouthernCarlson’s high level of service while supporting daily warehouse operations.

What You’ll Do

• Safely operate a box truck
• Deliver tools, fasteners, and materials to jobsites, warehouses, and residential customers

What We’re Looking For

• Valid U.S. driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Ability to lift 50–75 lbs regularly
• Forklift experience preferred (training available)
• Strong communication skills and customer-first mindset
• High school diploma or GED required
• 1+ year of delivery experience preferred, especially in construction or industrial settings
