Job summary

PeopleReady in Sulphur, LA is hiring Delivery Drivers to deliver or pick up merchandise along a defined route, loading and unloading vehicles, and verifying inventory against shipping papers. You will secure customer signatures as required and work with a team to maintain accurate, timely deliveries.

Ideal candidates have at least six months of delivery experience in a customer-facing role and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Applicants must be at least 18 years old.
• Minimum six months of delivery experience in a customer-facing environment.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Background check and drug test required.
• Some delivery assignments have an MVR check.

Responsibilities

• Deliver or pick up merchandise on a specified route following company procedure.
• Load and unload vehicles.
• Verify the contents of inventory loads against the shipping papers.
• Secure signatures from customers as required.
