Job summary

Santa Monica Seafood is seeking a Route Delivery Driver (Class D) to start early morning shifts. You will operate a refrigerated Bobtail truck, complete pre/post-trip inspections, and deliver orders to customers with a focus on timely, professional service.

Ideal candidates have 2 years of delivery driving experience (Bobtail 26' or shorter), a valid license and medical card, and a clean DMV record. Training is provided and uniforms are supplied.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License and valid medical card.
• Minimum 2 years of delivery driving experience with a Bobtail truck 26' footer or shorter.
• Clean DMV record and willingness to submit DMV report (last 3 years).

Responsibilities

• Operate a Class D refrigerated Bobtail truck.
• Deliver to customers on pre-assigned routes in a professional manner.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report defects.

Santa Monica is looking for a Route DeliveryDriver (Class D)!

The rightdriver will have the ability to stay calm under pressure, solve problems at the moment, have excellent communication skills, and be punctual and reliable.

We are looking fora Delivery driver for immediate hire who can start right away.Driver must want to be part of a team and be interested in the success of the company.

Pay Rate: $20.00 an hr - $21.00 an hour DOE

Schedule: 5:00am – 1:30pm (Monday through Saturday, Sunday off and one day during the week) Overtime may be required based on production needs.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• The driver will operate a Class D- Refrigerated Bobtail Truck.
• The delivery driver will have pre-assigned routes and endure timely delivery of our products to our customers, in a professional and customer service-oriented manner.
• The delivery driver will perform routine daily pre-trip and post-trip inspection to ensure the vehicle is road safe and reports any mechanical defects condition to the Lead Driver/Supervisor
• The driver will ensure that manifests are completed and accurate
• The driver will load the truck with daily merchandise to be delivered as well as unloaded merchandise for the customer.
• Must be able to lift/push/pull up to 75 lbs.
• Provides assistance to resolve customer issues.
• Ensures timely delivery of the product to our customers
• Food delivery experience preferred, butnot required
• Training provided
• Equipment and new uniforms are provided
• Knowledge of the Phoenix area
• Must submit a copy of your most recent DMV report (3 years) to be considered
