Job summary

DFamilk is seeking a full-time CDL B driver for local routes based in Houlton, ME. This position features a 4-day work week with start times between 2:00 AM and 4:00 AM and weekend days off.

You will operate our own equipment, complete safe pre/post trip inspections, and interface with customers using handheld devices. The role emphasizes safety, reliability, and route organization coordinated by management.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL B license required.
• DOT medical card, or ability to obtain.
• Knowledge of Hours-of-Service rules and regulations.
• Ability to perform safe pre- and post-trip inspections.
• Strong communication with customers.
• Delivery-type job experience is a plus.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and climb in/out of cargo box.
• Familiar with handheld/mobile computers for sales and delivery documents.

Responsibilities

• Complete daily local delivery routes from a fixed base in Houlton, ME.
• Operate a 4-day work week with early morning start times.
• Ensure safety compliance and maintain equipment.
• Coordinate with management on route organization and process improvements.
• Maintain accurate delivery documentation using handheld computers.
• Adhere to DOT regulations and on-time delivery.

This position is a 4-day schedule with shift start times between 2:00AM-4:00AM depending upon the route and driver preferences. Requirements

• Valid Class B CDL
• Existing or ability to obtain a DOT medical Card
• Operational Knowledge of Hours-of-Service rules and regulations
• Ability to perform safe pre/post trip inspections in accordance with DOT standards
• Good communication skills and ability to interface positively with customers
• Delivery type job experience a plus
• Ability to lift up 50 lbs and safely climb in and out of vehicle cargo box
• Able to operate handheld/mobile computers to transact sales & delivery documents
