Job summary

ADC, Inc. is hiring a Class B Delivery Driver in Andalusia, AL. The successful candidate will ensure timely and safe delivery, unload goods, review orders, and provide exceptional customer service. Early morning starts are required, with a comprehensive benefits package and PTO accruing from day one.

Responsibilities include daily logs, inspections, route deliveries, and collecting signatures. A valid CDL B and medical card are needed, along with a drug test and background check.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1 year of commercial driving experience.
• Must submit to pre-employment drug test and background check.
• Valid Medical Card required.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily logs and pre/post trip inspections.
• Deliver and unload product with assigned route, by hand or hand truck.
• Use handheld device to scan delivered product and collect signatures.
• Verify counts and communicate any discrepancies promptly.
• Collect payments where required and submit daily.
• Ensure timely and safe delivery to customers.

Job description

ADC is currently looking for a team player to fill the position of Class B Delivery Drivers in Andalusia. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely and safe delivery of goods to customers, unloading trucks, reviewing and verifying orders, and providing great customer service. Responsibilities:

• Daily logs and pre & post trip inspections
• Deliver and unload product with assigned route by hand or hand truck and place in designated customer areas.
• Use of handheld to scan delivered product
• Verify all counts and obtain customer signatures
• Call in all discrepancies found at the time of delivery
• Collect payments where required and turn in daily

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Must be at least 22 years old
• Must Possess a valid Class B CDL with a clean driving record
• Valid Medical Card
• Minimum 1-year commercial driving experience
• Ability to walk, drive, lift and/or carry up to 75 lbs. for extended periods of time.
• Must submit to a pre-employment drug test and background check
