Job summary

APAC-AL, Inc. in Andalusia, AL is seeking a Truck Driver to deliver soils, aggregates and related materials to residential and commercial sites. The role requires a Class B license, safe operating habits, and the ability to perform pre/post-trip inspections and routine maintenance.

The driver will be responsible for loading/unloading materials, communicating effectively by radio, and maintaining accurate time and material records while supporting a safe, efficient operation on every assignment.

Qualifications

• Requires at least one year of related experience.
• Must keep time and material records.
• Must follow verbal and written instruction.
• Knowledge of different types and sizes of aggregates.
• Must be able to communicate effectively on the radio system.

Responsibilities

• Deliver soils, aggregates and other materials to residential and commercial locations.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and basic vehicle servicing/adjustments.
• Load and unload large quantities of water for compaction and/or dust control.
• Maintain safe, efficient operation of the truck and perform minor maintenance as needed.
