Job summary

Centre Millwork is seeking an experienced Class B CDL Delivery Driver to join our Long Beach team. You will safely load, deliver, and unload lumber and building materials to job sites, ensuring accuracy and on-time arrivals.

Requirements include a valid Class B license, NCCCO ABC certification, and at least 2 years of CDL experience. Candidates must pass DOT tests, be able to lift 100 lbs, and communicate clearly in English.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience driving a commercial motor vehicle.
• Must pass DOT physical and drug testing.
• Building product experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs.
• Must read, write and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Load, deliver, and unload lumber and materials to job sites safely and efficiently.
• Communicate with customers and management about delivery timing and issues.
• Review job sites for unloading safety and proper access.
• Report any vehicle issues or property damage immediately.
• Maintain up-to-date logbooks per CSA 2010 requirements.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Adhere to company safety policies.

We are presently seeking an experienced and motivated Class B CDL Delivery Driver to join our team in order to further our exceptional service to our current and future client base.This position requires the driver be able to safely load, deliver, and unload product efficiently to job sites.

Responsibilities

• Insect truck for weight compliance, accuracy of material, and the proper securing of loads.
• Communicate efficiently and with kindness to customer base on daily deliveries.
• Be able to review job sites for proper unloading and safety issues.
• Notice and report any mechanical issues on vehicle
• Communicate properly with management and sales department on timing and any deliver issues they may occur.
• Report any property damage or personal injury that may occur immediately.
• Keep logbook up to date at all times and be compliant with all CSA 2010 requirements.
• Adhere to company safety policies.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections as necessary.

Requirements
