Job summary

Carter Lumber is seeking a CDL Delivery Specialist to transport orders to local customer jobsites using our company fleet, ensuring on-time delivery and safe operation.

You will unload with a dump bed or truck-mounted forklift and provide friendly customer service, with opportunities for growth within the family-owned company.

Qualifications

• Previous delivery experience, preferably with building materials.
• Experience operating a truck-mounted forklift.
• An acceptable driving record and a current CDL license.
• Familiarity with building materials and delivery equipment is preferred.
• Ability to be a team player.

Responsibilities

• Transport orders to local customer jobsites in a safe and timely manner.
• Provide friendly and professional customer service on site.
• Unload materials using dump bed or truck-mounted forklift and place them at the customer’s locations.

Description

As one of our CDL Delivery Specialists, you will be responsible for transporting orders to local customer jobsites in a safe and timely manner using our well-maintained and company-owned fleet. You will ensure that daily delivery schedules are met while providing friendly and professional customer service. While on site, you will unload using dump bed ortruck-mounted forklift to place the customer’s materials right where they need them.

Requirements

• Previous delivery experience, preferably with building materials
• Experience operating a truck-mounted forklift
• An acceptable driving record and a current CDL license
• Familiarity with building materials and delivery equipment is preferred
• Ability to be a team player
