Job summary

The Honickman Companies in Richmond, VA is seeking a driven delivery driver to transport and deliver products to stores and key clients on assigned routes.

You will operate safely and efficiently, with a daily rate of $26.00 plus commission and potential weekly gross up to $1,000.

Qualifications

• 6 months commercial truck driving experience, including standard transmission.
• Must maintain a valid Class B CDL with air brakes endorsement.
• Must be knowledge of FMCSA regulations.
• Must meet Company Driver MVR Qualification Standards.
• Must be experienced with Pallet Jack, Store Dolly and Store Jacks.
• Related training or certification.
• Experience working in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Obtain routing information, stops and customer billing daily.
• Organize route.
• Transport products to the customers and unload product from truck.
• Merchandise product where required.
• Collect money from billing if required.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

You will be responsible for the transporting and delivery of products to stores and key clients on your assigned route in a safe and efficient manner.

Daily Rate: $26.00 + commission.This position has the ability to gross up to $750 -$1000 a week.

Additional roles and responsibilities included but are not limited to:

• Obtain routing information, stops and customer billing daily.
• Organize route.
• Transport products to the customers and unload product from truck.
• Merchandise product where required.
• Collect money from billing if required.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Required Experience:

• 6 months commercial truck driving experience, including standard transmission (if applicable).
• Must maintain a valid Class B CDL with air brakes endorsement. As verified by a current MVR/driver abstract, must meet all qualifications as defined under DOT Regulation 49 CFR 383.51.
• Must be knowledge of FMCSA regulations.
• Must meet Company Driver MVR Qualification Standards.
• Must be experienced with working with a Pallet Jack, Store Dolly and Store Jacks.
• Related training or certification.
• Experience working in a team environment.
• Office equipment including, but not limited to, computer, hand-held, phone, fax machine, copier and calculator.
