Qualifications

Summary

As a CDL Driver, you will play a crucial role at RNDC by ensuring the timely and safe delivery of products to our customers while maintaining a high level of professionalism and customer service. You will also have the opportunity to collect non-cash payments as necessary, contributing to the financial transactions associated with the deliveries.

Responsibilities

1. Conduct pre and post trip inspections, noting any vehicle defects. Follow DOT hours of service rules and regulations.
2. Potential for dedicated overnight routes.
3. Accurately deliver invoiced products and ensure correct receipt with customer signatures and payments if applicable.
4. Maintain physical security of the truck at all times.
5. Deliver to approximately 19 accounts daily, up to 30 during peak times.
6. Cover approximately 160 miles daily, with potential increases during peak times or out-of-town routes.
7. Work with helpers as needed.
8. Provide feedback to management regarding routes.
9. Utilize smartphone apps for HOS software and driver monitoring.

Qualifications

1. High school diploma or GED.
2. Preferably two years of delivery experience or equivalent training.
3. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally.
4. Current Class B CDL license (Class A preferred), with ability to meet insurance requirements.
5. Ability to obtain DOT medical certification and file appropriately.
6. Alcohol Beverage Commission (ABC) License as required.
