Job summary

Delaware Valley Floral Group is seeking a Delivery Driver to ensure timely, safe transport of fresh floral products between distribution locations and customers. You will operate a company van and occasionally a refrigerated box truck, supporting warehouse operations and maintaining product quality.

The role emphasizes safe driving, route efficiency, and strong customer service in a fast-paced distribution environment. Onsite work in Augusta, GA with competitive hourly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional experience driving commercial vehicles (vans, 16-ft box trucks, or similar) preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with the ability to obtain DOT Medical Certification (CDL not required).
• Acceptable driving record (reviewed periodically).
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Ability to safely lift and move up to 60 pounds.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Comfort using GPS, maps, and route planning tools.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-motivated with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Dependable, team-oriented, and committed to workplace safety.
• Ability to pass required pre-employment screenings.

Responsibilities

About the Role

The Delivery Driver plays a key role in ensuring the timely and safe transportation of fresh floral products between our distribution locations and our customers. This position is responsible for operating a company van and occasionally a refrigerated box truck to shuttle products while supporting warehouse operations and maintaining product quality. The role directly contributes to reliable deliveries, operational efficiency, and excellent service to our internal and external partners.

What You'll Do

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

This role requires the ability to lift and move up to 60 pounds, climb in and out of vehicles, and perform physical tasks such as loading and unloading products throughout the shift with or without reasonable accommodation.

Work is performed in a warehouse and refrigerated cooler environment (approximately 34°F) as well as while operating delivery vehicles. The position requires standing, sitting, walking, bending, kneeling, and crouching for extended periods, as well as the ability to operate equipment such as pallet jacks and RF scanners.

Vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Other Information

• Work Location: Onsite Augusta, GA
• Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday (occasional Saturdays may be required)
• Start Time: Monday start time is 5:30 AM, with shifts ending upon completion of the delivery route
