Job description

McCormick Paints is seeking a flexible, customer-focused Seasonal Inside Sales & Delivery Driver to join our team on a part-time basis. In this hybrid role, you will support both in-store sales operations and delivery duties. You may be assigned to a single store or float between multiple locations within the region. This seasonal opportunity provides valuable experience and the possibility to apply internally for full-time, permanent roles in the future.

SCHEDULE:

1. Days/Hours: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 12:00 PM
2. Season End Date: October 31, 2025

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Duties include, but are not limited to those listed below. Other duties may be assigned.

Inside Sales Duties:

• Customer Support: Greet and assist customers in the store, providing product information, recommendations, and technical support.
• Sales Transactions: Process orders accurately using our point-of-sale system.
• Product Preparation: Assist in tinting and mixing paint to meet customer specifications.
• Merchandising: Maintain organized product displays and assist with inventory restocking.

Delivery Driver Duties:

• Safe Deliveries: Operate a company vehicle to deliver paint products to customers, ensuring all safety and DOT regulations are followed.
• Loading/Unloading: Efficiently load and unload products, verifying order accuracy both before and after deliveries.
• Route Management: Follow designated delivery routes, ensuring timely and professional service.
• Customer Interaction: Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor during delivery interactions, supporting the overall customer experience.

QUALIFICATIONS

• High school degree, or equivalent, required
• Experience: Prior experience in retail sales, delivery driving, or related fields is preferred.
• License: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and carry 60+ lbs frequently throughout the day.
• Skills:
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to multitask and adapt between in-store and delivery responsibilities.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Basic computer proficiency for processing sales transactions and inventory tracking.
