DOMINO'S Pizza is seeking qualified delivery drivers to staff stores in your area.
Job Requirements
- You must be 18 years of age and have a valid driver's license with a safe driving record meeting company standards.
- Access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
- Ability to navigate a designated delivery area, read maps, locate addresses, and navigate adverse terrain including multi‑story buildings.
- Good verbal, written, and telephone communication skills.
- Ability to compute accurate monetary change.
- Basic motor coordination and ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Responsibilities
- Operate all equipment.
- Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, and walk‑in cooler.
- Prepare products.
- Receive and process telephone orders.
- Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
- Clean equipment and facility approximately daily.
- Attend orientation and on‑the‑job training.
- Deliver product by car directly to customers, including flyers and door hangers.
- Perform door‑to‑door deliveries within a designated area, making several deliveries per shift.
Essential Functions/Skills
- Perform basic arithmetic quickly and accurately (may use a calculator).
- Enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
- Make correct monetary change.
- Operate a vehicle safely in varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions.
- Move between the store, delivery vehicle, and customer location by walking and climbing stairs.
Work Conditions
- Exposure to varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions when removing trash, performing outdoor tasks, or making deliveries.
- In‑store temperatures ranging from 36°F to 90°F and above in some work areas.
- Fumes from food odors, impact of cornmeal dust, cramped quarters such as walk‑in coolers.
- Hot surfaces/tools up to 500°F or higher, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts.
Physical Demands
- Standing for most tasks; walking short distances.
- Frequently lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling items ranging from 3–50 pounds.
- Climbing stairs or ladders to reach shelves or perform maintenance.
- Forward bending, crouching, squatting, and reaching at various heights during pizza assembly, stocking, and cleaning.
- Hand tasks requiring eye‑hand coordination and forceful use of forearms and wrists (e.g., shaping dough, operating a pizza cutter).
Additional Information
- Physical demands include continuous eye‑hand coordination, use of one or both hands, and frequent manipulation of pizza peels, cutters, and boxes.
- Requirements for machines, tools, and work aids include using pencils, pens, computers, telephones, calculators, and standard pizza equipment.
Driving Specific Job Duties
- Deliver product by car to the customer’s door.
- Deliver flyers and door hangers.
- Navigate adverse terrain, including multi‑story buildings and private homes, while carrying product.
