Delivery drivers provide timely and courteous service by delivering pizzas and related products directly to customers. They may also perform basic store tasks under supervision.

Job Requirements and Duties

• Must be at least 18 years old and possess a valid driver’s license with a safe driving record that meets company standards.
• Must have access to an insured vehicle suitable for delivery.
• Must navigate deliveries, read maps, locate addresses within a designated delivery area, and handle adverse terrain including multi‑story buildings and private homes.

Core Responsibilities

• Operate all store equipment as required.
• Stock ingredients, manage inventory, and maintain store supplies.
• Prepare and handle pizza products, closing, wiping down equipment, and cleaning facilities at least daily.
• Receive and process telephone and online orders.
• Communicate accurately with customers and co‑workers over the phone and in person.
• Calculate correct monetary change and enter orders using a computer or touchscreen.
• Complete associated paperwork and inventory reports.
• Participate in orientation and on‑the‑job training.

Physical Demands

• Stand, walk, and move for most of the shift.
• Lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds and stack them up to 6 ft high.
• Carry large cans (~3 lb), pizza sauce (30 lb), and trays of dough (~12 lb per tray).
• Push, pull, and navigate trays on dollies requiring up to 7.5 lb of force.
• Climb stairs and occasionally ladders for maintenance or restocking.
• Use fine motor skills for dough shaping, box assembly, and equipment handling.

Work Conditions

• Varying weather conditions while delivering; indoor and outdoor temperatures ranging from 36 °F to above 90 °F.
• Exposure to food odors, cornmeal dust, hot surfaces up to 500 °F, and moving mechanical parts.
• Workplace includes cramped areas such as walk‑in coolers.
