Delivery Driver

Deliver pizzas to customers within the assigned delivery area. Operate company vehicles and equipment, prepare product, process orders, and maintain store safety and cleanliness.

Essential Functions / Responsibilities

• Operate all equipment.
• Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, walk‑in cooler.
• Prepare product, receive and process telephone orders.
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
• Clean equipment and facility approximately daily.

Communication and Customer Service

• Comprehend and give correct written instructions.
• Communicate verbally with customers and co‑workers, processing orders over the phone and in person.

Mandatory Skills

• Add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly; must be able to make correct monetary change.
• Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
• Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to rapidly and accurately make precise movements with speed.
• Enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.

Work Conditions

• Varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions when removing trash and performing other outside tasks.

Physical Requirements

• Walking, Lifting, Carrying, Pushing, Climbing, Forward Bending, Reaching.
• Lifting: Bulk product deliveries up to 50 pounds (3 ft × 1.5 ft); cases up to 72 in. high.
• Carrying: Large cans (3 lb 7 oz), pizza sauce (30 lb), dough trays (12 lb/tray, 3 at a time).
• Pushing: Trays on dollies require up to 7.5 lb of force; may be pulled.
• Climbing: Infrequent navigation of stairs or ladder for maintenance.
• Forward bending: Approximately 30‑45 s at a time, repeated continuously.
• Reach: up, down, forward continuously; eye‑hand coordination essential.
