Delivery Driver

Domino’s is looking for qualified drivers who want to get paid to drive around safely, listen to tunes, and deliver great product. With a great attitude and great customer service, you can have your share of tips!

Job Requirements and Duties
  • Navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses within designated delivery area.
  • Must navigate adverse terrain including multi‑story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites while carrying product.
  • Deliver products or flyers within designated delivery area with regard to safety, security, and timeliness.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license with safe driving record meeting company standards.
  • Access to an insured and registered vehicle in proper working condition, which can be used for delivery.
  • Help out with in‑store tasks when not busy taking deliveries.

Company Vehicle Note: Have a valid license but no vehicle? Ask about our company vehicles! We have company vehicles at many of our locations for you to use while working.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Must have a valid driver's license.

  • Must not have had any drug or alcohol related motor vehicle violations in the last five years.
  • Must have reliable transportation.
Required Functions, Skills, and Duties – General
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator).
  • Must be able to make correct monetary change.
  • Verbal, writing, and telephone communication skills to take and process orders.
  • Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
  • Operate all store equipment.
  • Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, walk‑in cooler.
  • Prepare products.
  • Receive and process telephone orders.
  • Clean equipment and facility approximately daily.

Work Conditions
  • Varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions.
  • In‑store temperatures ranging from 33 degrees in cooler to 90 degrees and above in some work areas.
  • Sudden changes in temperature in the work area and while outside.
  • Fumes from artificial and natural scents or odors from food, gas, air fresheners, etc.
  • Exposure to cornmeal dust.
  • Confined spaces, such as a walk‑in cooler.
  • Hot surfaces, tools, and products from the oven up to 500 degrees or higher.
  • Sharp edges and moving mechanical parts.
Physical Demands and Mental/Physical Abilities
  • Near and mid‑range vision is used for most in‑store tasks.
  • Depth perception is necessary for all positions.
  • Personnel must be able to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces.
  • Far vision and night vision are needed for delivery personnel.
  • The ability to speak, hear, and understand verbal communication on telephone and in person is necessary.
  • The ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet strict quality control standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, make judgments and decisions is necessary throughout shifts.
  • Most tasks are performed from a standing position.
  • Walking surfaces include ceramic tile, concrete, or linoleum in some food process areas.
  • Walking is frequently required for short distances and short durations.
  • Delivery personnel must travel between delivery vehicles/e‑bikes and from the delivery vehicle/e‑bike to the customer's location.
  • Bulk product deliveries are made twice a week or more and are unloaded by the team members on duty during the deliveries. Deliveries may include cases of ingredients and supplies weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Cases are usually lifted from the floor and stacked onto shelves up to 72" high.
  • Dough trays weigh approximately 12 pounds, cases of products up to 25 pounds.
  • During delivery, carrying products while performing walking and climbing duties may be required.
  • Team members may be required to move trays or products on dollies; a stack of trays on a dolly is approximately 24"–30" and requires a force of up to 7.5 pounds to push.
  • Team members must infrequently navigate stairs or climb a ladder to change air fresheners, clean walls, or perform maintenance.
  • During delivery of product, navigation of five or more flights of stairs may be required.
  • Performed occasionally to stock shelves and to clean low areas.
  • Forward bending at the waist is necessary at the pizza assembly station. Duration of this position is generally less than one minute and may be repeated frequently.
  • Reaching is performed continuously; up, down and forward. Workers reach above 72" occasionally to turn on/off oven, heat lamp, or television controls, and to lift and lower objects to and from shelves.
  • Eyes‑hand coordination is essential; activities frequently require use of one or both hands. Use of hands is continuous during the day.
  • Mussels may be required to manipulate a pizza peel when removing pizza from the oven and when using pizza cutters.
  • Team Members may be required to utilize pencils/pens, computers, telephones, calculators, TDD equipment, pizza cutters, pizza peels, and scales.
