Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a driver to deliver radiopharmaceuticals and oncology medications to medical care providers on a defined route. You will prepare, scan, and load shipments, and maintain vehicle cleanliness and readiness on a daily shift.

The role requires driving in all weather, lifting up to 75 pounds, and using tablets for order processing. A high school diploma or GED is preferred, and eligibility for vendor credentialing may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18 due to driving of company vehicle.
• Must hold a valid driver's license.
• Comfortable driving in all weather conditions.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Ability to sit, stand, be mobile and operate a vehicle for extended periods.
• Able to work weekends, holidays, overtime, alternate shifts.
• Comfortable working in a nuclear environment.
• Familiar with using computers/tablets.
• Prior delivery driving experience is a plus.
• Read/write in English.

Responsibilities

• Delivers to customer accounts on an assigned route using a company vehicle (non-CDL).
• Packages radiopharmaceutical medication for shipment and loads/unloads containers.
• Uses a handheld tablet to scan orders, obtain route stop information and navigation.
• Processes packages returned from customer locations.
• Maintains vehicles in proper working condition and may perform minor roadside repairs.
• Performs general facility cleaning and other duties as required.

• 40 hours per week
• Monday - Friday 3:00 am - 11:00 am.
• Holidays are typically volunteer 3:00 am - 11:00 am
• Candidate must be flexible to work different days, schedules, hours, come in early, stay late, or work overtime based on business needs.

What Pharmacy Services & Delivery contributes to Cardinal Health

Responsible for the prompt and accurate delivery and distribution of radiopharmaceuticals or oncology pharmaceuticals to medical care providers in accordance with customer demand and requirements of the assigned route. Prepares doses for shipment, prepares cases, wipes doses, and loads and unloads containers in keeping with the prescribed safety standards and Department of Transportation (DOT).

Responsibilities

• Processes packages returned from customer locations
• Maintains vehicles in proper working condition and may perform minor roadside repairs
• Performs general facility cleaning and other duties as required

Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 years of age due to driving of company owned vehicle
• Must hold a valid driver's license
• Comfortable driving in all weather conditions during day or night hours
• Ability to manage weight up to 75 pounds
• Ability to sit, stand, be mobile and operate a vehicle for extended periods of time
• Ability to work weekends, holidays, overtime, alternate days/shifts, or be in a rotation
• Comfortable working in a nuclear environment
• Ability to use computers and tablets
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Prior delivery driving experience a plus
• High school diploma, GED or equivalent, or equivalent work experience, preferred
• Basic proficiency in English is required, including being able to read and write in English in order to process documents.
• May require vendor credentialing

Pay rate: $21.80 per hour
