Job summary

Ohiocraftbeer is seeking a dedicated delivery driver to operate on assigned routes, delivering beer cases and kegs. You will unload, collect payments, and complete daily paperwork while adhering to DOT regulations and safety standards.

The role requires a valid Ohio driver license, physical ability to lift heavy loads, and willingness to work overtime. It is an in-person, on-site position with benefits and weekend coverage as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist with loading/unloading as needed and perform overtime when required.

Job description

Drives truck over established, assigned routes to deliver beer cases and kegs. Unloads, Completes all the necessary delivery paperwork.

MANDATORY REQUIREMENT: VALID DRIVERS LICENSE IN GOOD STANDING

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Ensures regular and punctual attendance
2. Reviews product load sheet to ensure no loading errors have occurred.
3. Drives truck to deliver product to assigned accounts.
4. Unloads beer from truck using appropriate equipment, depending on type of delivery truck.
5. Collects payment from customers, and records transactions on customer receipt.
6. Settles all invoices and payments, collected during deliveries, at the end of each day.
7. Verifies with warehouse personnel all products on the truck at end of day that was returned, refused, or damaged. Completes all necessary paperwork.
8. Checks in truck at the end of the day and ensures the inside of truck is clean.
9. Operates vehicles in a safe manner and obeys all Ohio State and DOT laws.
10. Adheres to all safety codes and OSHA standards.
11. Maintains safe and clean working environment.
12. Works overtime when required.
13. Assists with loading truck when needed.
14. Performs any additional duties and special tasks assigned by any member of Delivery Management team.

1. Must be able to push/pull/lift kegs and on a regular basis which average 160 pounds. You must be physically capable of routinely performing lifting at those weight levels and transporting product into customer accounts.
2. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to drive a truck to deliver product to customer accounts.
3. Must be able to regularly unload product (case of beer), which averages to 22 lbs and kegs that can weight a maximum of 160 lbs. from delivery vehicle and transport into customer accounts.
4. Able to maneuver a two/four-wheel dolly effectively.

Educational/Vocational/Previous Experience:

1. High School diploma or GED preferred.
2. Valid Ohio driver license.
3. Tow Motor Certification

Working Conditions:

1. Warehouse environment.
2. Regular exposure to extreme temperatures, dusty conditions, fumes, machinery with moving parts, and outside weather conditions, including wet and/or humid conditions.
3. Possible exposure to chemicals and other toxicants, electrical shock, loud noise, and high places.

Pay: $15.00 – $20.00 per hour
