Job summary

Auto Club Enterprises is seeking a Delivery Driver to operate a class C vehicle servicing branch locations within an approximate 220-mile radius. You will load and unload, maintain records, and assist warehouse staff as needed. 40-hour week with potential night, weekend, and holiday shifts.

Qualified candidates will have a valid CDL by state, strong communication skills, and the ability to lift up to 75 pounds. Full-time positions include comprehensive benefits and incentive opportunities.

Qualifications

• Possess a valid Class C CDL by resident state.
• 3-5 years experiential event experience preferred.
• Must meet DOT FMCSA Section 391 requirements.
• Good communication skills and MS Office experience.
• Able to lift up to 75 pounds and perform physical tasks.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Willingness to work a 40-hour week including nights/weekends/holidays.

Delivery Driver

This position operates a class C commercial vehicle to service field locations and is responsible for the loading and unloading of transported materials.

Job Duties

• Drive truck to branch offices within an average radius of approximately 220 miles from the A.O.
• Load and unload trucks at delivery and hub locations, utilizing electric and standard pallet jacks, or dolly’s where necessary.
• Maintain vehicle and delivery records as required by regulation or procedure policies.
• Maintain inspection logs of vehicle. Keep all fluid levels within recommended levels, check battery, tires, and brake system. Conduct minor maintenance items based upon inspection.
• Assist warehouse staff as needed when not on a delivery
• Organize and maintain the work environment.

Qualifications

• Class C Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) by resident state preferred
• 3-5 years experiential event experience preferred
• CPR, First Aid, and Fire Extinguisher Training/Certification preferred
• Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) based on hiring standards required along with minimum limits of automobile liability insurance
• Must meet all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulatory requirements under section 391 of the Federal Motor Carrier (FMC) regulations
• Great communication skills and Microsoft Office experience
• Ability to work independently and/or as a team member
• High school diploma, GED or equivalent certification
• Availability to work a 40-hour work week, including potential non-standard business hours; including nights, weekends and holidays
• Ability to lift/carry hand freight weighing up to 75 pounds several times a week
• Ability to sit for extended periods of time, bend, twist, squat, climb in and out of truck
• Ability to follow instructions and complete required training

$22.17 - $29.53
