Job description

Non-CDL Delivery Driver

Automation Personnel Services is seeking a dedicated Non-CDL Delivery Driver for a company based in Sterling, VA. In this role, you will primarily operate a delivery truck to transport various materials.

Pay Rate
$18-$30 per hour - DOE

Schedule and Hours
Monday through Friday, 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Drive trucks to destinations, providing accurate, timely, and courteous service to customer shops or job sites.
2. Secure loads using runners, boards, ratchet straps, chains, and binders to ensure cargo safety during transit.
3. Ensure proper loading and unloading of materials in accordance with safety guidelines.
4. Inspect truck equipment such as tires, lights, brakes, and fluid levels.
5. Assist with warehouse duties including receiving, verifying, restocking, picking, palletizing, staging, loading/unloading trucks, operating forklifts, and maintaining housekeeping.

Qualifications and Requirements

1. Must have a valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
2. Pass pre-employment drug screening (including THC) and criminal background check.
3. Ability to perform basic math operations.
4. Ability to work outdoors and in warehouse environments, sometimes in uncontrolled climates.
