Alameda Electrical Distributors & California Service Tool is seeking a Delivery Driver for our San Francisco, CA location. This full-time role runs 5:00 am to 1:30 pm, handling on-time deliveries, unloading, and customer service while maintaining vehicle and load safety.

Qualifications include 2+ years driving, a valid license with clean MVR, forklift/test clearance, and comfort with warehouse operations. We offer robust benefits and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2+ years delivery driving experience required.
• Must be able to drive a 24 or 26' truck and lift 70 lbs.
• Valid driver's license with a clean MVR; background/drug test clearance.
• Able to pass forklift test and driving test.
• Familiar with warehouse/delivery operations and good math skills.

Responsibilities

• Package and verify merchandise for delivery and ensure accuracy with shipping docs.
• Assist in unloading items at stops and maintain vehicle safety and maintenance.
• Provide excellent customer service and teamwork; support warehouse duties as needed.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections, secure loads, collect confirmations, and report discrepancies.

Responsibilities

• Ensure appropriate merchandise to be delivered is packaged properly for shipment.
• Assist in unloading proper items off the truck at each stop on the route.
• Verify that merchandise being unloaded is correct and accounted for via shipping documents.
• Ensure general maintenance and safety of the vehicle.
• Assist in warehouse duties on an as-needed basis, and most importantly provide excellent customer service and teamwork.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections, secure loads, obtain delivery confirmations, pick up customer returns and will-call orders as needed, and report any delivery discrepancies or safety concerns to management.

Qualifications

• Able to work 5:00 am - 1:30 pm
• Overtime may be required; as needed
• Be familiar with warehouse and delivery operations; have strong mathematical ability
• Demonstrate professional behavior with an excellent customer service attitude
• Familiar w/computer
• Must be able to pass a background/drug test; pass a forklift test & drive test; and hold a valid driver's license with a clean MVR
• Minimum of 2+ years of delivery driving experience required
• MUST be able to drive a 24 or 26' truck
• Able to lift 70lbs or more
• Able to work independently with little supervision AND with a team
