Job summary

Shute Oil & Propane is seeking a CDL driver to load, transport, and deliver propane safely from our Rudyard Township facility. You will ensure compliance with DOT and company safety standards while maintaining accurate documentation and high customer service at each location.

Must hold valid Class A or B CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements; ability to lift up to 75 lbs; willingness to work on-call and after hours when needed. Join a safety‑driven team committed to reliable, on-time service.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A or B CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements.
• Driving record that meets company insurance requirements.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and pull up to 125 lbs in all weather conditions.
• Willingness to work on-call and outside regular hours when required.
• Commitment to following safety procedures without exception.

Responsibilities

• Load, secure, transport, deliver, and unload propane products safely
• Maintain compliance with all federal, state, DOT, and company safety requirements
• Complete accurate service orders, documentation, and parts billing each day.
• Inspect vehicles and report maintenance or equipment needs promptly
• Provide professional, courteous service at every customer location
• Work collaboratively with service and dispatch teams to support operational goals
• Participate in on-call rotations, including extended or after-hours work as business needs require

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Load, secure, transport, deliver, and unload propane products safely
