Job summary

Mount Perry Propane, based in Mount Perry, OH, is seeking a delivery driver to load, transport, and unload propane products with a focus on safety and customer service.

You will work with service and dispatch teams, follow strict DOT and company safety rules, and participate in on-call rotations, including after-hours as needed. Valid CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements required; pay starts at $25 per hour and benefits include medical, 401(k), and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements.
• Driving record that meets company insurance requirements (implicit in qualifications).
• Ability to safely lift up to 75 lbs and pull up to 125 lbs in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Load, secure, transport, deliver, and unload propane products safely.
• Maintain compliance with all federal, state, DOT, and company safety requirements.
• Complete accurate service orders, documentation, and parts billing each day.
• Inspect vehicles and report maintenance or equipment needs promptly.
• Provide professional, courteous service at every customer location.
• Work collaboratively with service and dispatch teams to support operational goals.
• Participate in on-call rotations, including extended or after-hours work as business needs require.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Load, secure, transport, deliver, and unload propane products safely

Must Have

• Valid Class A or B CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements
• Driving record that meets company insurance requirements
• Ability to safely lift up to 75 lbs and pull up to 125 lbs in all weather conditions
• Willingness to work on-call and outside regular hours when required
• Commitment to following safety procedures without exception

Nice to Have

• Comfort using basic computer systems for logging, inspections, and documentation
• Experience working directly with residential or commercial customers
• Familiarity with DOT inspections and compliance standards

Pay: $25-28 per hour (Depending on Experience)
