Preferred Qualifications
- CDL Class “C” preferred, but not required. We pay for the DOT Medical Card.
- Valid state‑issued driver’s license required.
- Minimum 2 years of safe driving; preferred 5+ years.
- Ability to lift and carry 75 lbs. unassisted and assemble furniture.

What You're Doing
- Serve as the face of our brand to customers during in‑home and on‑site furniture delivery and assembly.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and experience, acting as a brand ambassador.
- Provide friendly, courteous, and efficient service while delivering high‑quality products.
- Proactively bring solutions, including furniture assembly or repairs and other added value services.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive product knowledge to assist customers effectively.
- Drive large box trucks safely and courteously, following all traffic laws and company safety procedures.
- Maintain a timely delivery schedule, contacting customers by phone, email, and text to confirm delivery details.
- Inspect delivery vehicles pre‑ and post‑trip to ensure all vehicles are in top condition.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and records and partner with the Transportation team on DOT regulations including Hours of Service.
- Guarantee safe and professional transportation and delivery of products, including:
- Follow safety procedures during loading, unloading and transport.
- Safely load and unload merchandise, ensuring it is in perfect condition.
- Assemble furniture, affix tickets, and properly prepare merchandise in the staging area.
- Review and verify invoices and purchase requests for accuracy.
- Maintain accurate inventory to ensure efficient flow of merchandise.
- Remove all packaging materials and debris, ensuring a clean delivery for customers.
- Assist with showroom changes, tagging merchandise, and maintaining displays.
- Greet clients and answer phones promptly, professionally, and politely.
- May require driving long distances, including occasional overnight stays (per diem provided when applicable).
- Perform other duties or special projects when assigned.
Who You Are
- Have a customer‑centric attitude.
- 1–3 years of successful experience in customer‑facing roles.
- Valid state‑issued driver’s license.
- Minimum 2 years of safe driving; preferred 5+ years.
- CDL preferred, but not required.
- Ability to complete pre‑employment physical and drug screening.
- Ability to obtain DOT Medical certificate.
- Employment dependent on maintaining all DOT and driving certifications.
- Ability to lift 75 lbs. unassisted and assemble furniture.
- Excellent communication skills, ability to read invoices and utilize systems.
- Proficiency in using a hand truck, basic assembly, and safe operation of small power tools.
- Willingness to obtain forklift certification (required at some locations).
- Working hours include weekends and holidays; flexibility required.
- Occasional overtime and travel to other locations.
- Must successfully complete drug screen, physical (including DOT Medical Card), background check and motor vehicle record check.
- Position subject to random and post‑accident drug screening.
- Must sign nondisclosure agreement.
Education
High‑school diploma or equivalent GED. 2+ years' work experience driving is a plus.
