Job summary

Betts Truck Parts & Service is seeking a Delivery Driver for the Phoenix branch. The role delivers parts, provides customer service, and performs warehousing duties. Hours are Monday–Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, at Betts Park location in Phoenix.

• No motor vehicle violations in the last 24 months.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Drive company vehicle to deliver parts to customer's business.
• Maintain a delivery record of sales and parts delivered.
• Keep company vehicle clean and in good repair; complete required paperwork.
• Verify incoming/outgoing shipments and keep warehouse inventory current.
• Assist with loading vehicles for deliveries and process warehouse transactions.

Betts Truck Parts & Service is currently looking to hire a Delivery Driver for the Phoenix branch. Our drivers provide a face-to-face delivery service to our customers and perform warehousing activities. In this fast-paced role, the Delivery Driver will drive trucks over established routes to deliver and sell products or render services and collect payments from customers. Our Phoenix branch operates Monday through Friday from 8:00AM-5:00PM.

Betts is a family-owned company in business for over 155 years. We specialize in parts and service work for suspensions, brakes, wheel ends, and more on a variety of vehicles. We currently operate 8 locations on the West Coast, our truck repair services include laser alignments, steering and drivetrain repairs, Bendix retrofit anti-collision safety system installation, DOT and BIT inspections, leaf spring repair and replacement, truck suspension repair, truck axle and trailer axle repair, brake repair service, hydraulic hoses, custom u-bolts, and more!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Driving company vehicle to deliver parts to customer's place of business. Check the load before leaving for a delivery route. Obtain the signature of the customer when parts are delivered and collect payment if necessary.
• Maintain a delivery record of sales and parts delivered.
• Maintain company vehicle to standards, including cleaning, inspecting, and completing the appropriate paperwork for repairs.
• Follows operational procedures for activities such as verification of incoming and outgoing shipments, handling and disposition of materials, and keeping warehouse inventory current.
• Checks in and unloads all receiving from incoming trucks, including UPS, and completes appropriate paperwork.
• Place stock on shelves, racks, or other appropriate designated locations.
• Fills customer orders for delivery, will call or shipment.
• Maintains warehouse in a neat and orderly fashion keeping inventory in proper bin locations.
• Inspects the physical condition of the warehouse and equipment.
• Confers with department manager to ensure coordination of warehouse activities with activities of other functions such as sales and deliveries.
• Directs salvage of damaged or used material, including cores.
• Inspect all cores coming in from deliveries, making sure they are acceptable. Prepares core returns by current standards.
• Enters bin location on a product that comes in without current bin location.
• Complete daily cycle counts.
• Process negative inventory reports and corrections as needed.
• Assist or load vehicles for deliveries.
• Complete appropriate paperwork associated with all warehouse transactions.

Requirements
