Job summary

Oerlikon Group in Oklahoma City is seeking a Delivery Driver to operate company vans and delivery vehicles, responsible for picking up and delivering coated products to and from the Coating Center to the customer. The role includes loading/unloading, preparing documentation, and occasional center work.

Role requires loading up to 44 lbs, safe driving habits, and strong customer service. Competitive benefits and first-day eligibility are provided.

Responsibilities

• Interact with customers and co-workers in a ‘customer-friendly’ manner.

• Handle customer tooling with the utmost care
• Act as liaison to Center Management with regards to customer’s needs, observations, and competitive climate
• Follow the Fleet Management requirements as defined in the company policy.
• Maintain delivery vehicle.
• Ensure all registrations, license plates and insurance are up to date.
• Work in the coating center when not on the road driving
• Obtaining customer signatures when needed

Job description

We are looking for a Delivery Driver for our Oklahoma Cityfacility. In this role you will operate company vans and/or delivery vehicles and will be responsible for the pickup and delivery of coated products to and from the Coating Center to the Customer. This position requires the Delivery Driver to load and unload materials, goods, equipment between various destinations as assigned. Delivery Driver also prepares, receives, and provides appropriate documentation for the delivery or pick up of goods to ensure timely and accurate transportation. May be responsible for vehicle maintenance and presentation. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines and procedures to perform the functions of the job. This position also requires the delivery driver to work in the coating center when not driving. This position can be 95 percent driving and 5 percent working in the center. This can include packing, fixturing, and receiving.
