Job summary

Donatos is seeking Delivery Drivers to fold boxes, take phone orders, assist with back-of-house duties, and deliver food orders to customers. Drivers may assist in-store when not on deliveries, ensuring orders are correct before leaving.

The role emphasizes safety, efficiency, and accurate order fulfillment. Responsibilities include delivering orders, operating a motor vehicle safely, stocking for the next shift, and providing excellent customer communication.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• A clean driving record.
• Valid automobile insurance.
• Previous Driver and/or customer service experience helpful but not required.
• Must be able to perform the essential functions safely and meet productivity standards.
• Able to lift up to 20 pounds consistently and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Occasional bending and twisting.

Responsibilities

• Check out and deliver orders.
• Safely operate a motor vehicle.
• Perform other in-store functions while not driving such as folding boxes or cross-functional Associate level duties.
• Set the next shift up for success by stocking.
• Effectively communicate with customers, co-workers, and managers in person or over the telephone.
• Take customer orders over the phone.
• Accurately handle cash; give customer correct change.
• Follow all food safety guidelines, including handwashing, illness reporting and cleanliness.

Delivery Drivers may spend their shifts folding boxes, taking phone orders, assisting Restaurant Associates with back of house duties, and of course, delivering food orders to our customers. A driver will assist where needed in the restaurant when not on deliveries. Delivery Drivers are to perform their role safely, efficiently, and accurately, making sure all orders are correct before leaving the restaurant.
