Job summary

Donatos is seeking delivery drivers for weekend and evening shifts to deliver food orders quickly and accurately. When not on deliveries, you may assist in-store tasks, including folding boxes and stocking, to help the team operate smoothly.

Responsibilities include safely operating a vehicle, taking customer orders by phone, handling cash, and upholding food safety standards. This role offers a friendly, team-oriented environment with opportunities to grow within the Donatos family.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Clean driving record required.
• Auto insurance coverage required.
• Customer service experience helpful but not required.
• Able to perform essential functions safely and productively.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Occasional bending and twisting may be needed.

Responsibilities

Delivery Drivers may spend their shifts folding boxes, taking phone orders, assisting Restaurant Associates with back of house duties, and of course, delivering food orders to our customers. A driver will assist where needed in the restaurant when not on deliveries. Delivery Drivers are to perform their role safely, efficiently, and accurately, making sure all orders are correct before leaving the restaurant.

Requirements:

• Delivery Drivers must have a valid driver’s license
• A clean driving record
• Valid automobile insurance
• Previous Driver and/or customer service experience helpful but not required
• Must be able to perform the essential functions of this position safely while meeting productivity standards
• Able to lift up to up to 20 pounds consistently and up to 50 pounds occasionally
• Occasional bending and twisting

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Checks out and deliver orders.

• Sets the next shift up for success by stocking.
• Effectively communicates with customers, co-workers, and managers in person or over the telephone.
• Takes customer orders over the phone.
• Accurately handles cash; gives customer correct change.
• Follows all food safety guidelines, including handwashing, illness reporting and cleanliness.
