You will execute multi-stop routes, assist with inventory and packaging when not driving, and uphold strict chain-of-custody procedures. Must be 21+, have a valid license, and pass background checks.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ and pass all state-mandated background checks, motor vehicle background screens, and fingerprinting.
• Ability to lift and maneuver cargo boxes up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Secure Transport & Delivery: execute timely, multi-stop delivery routes to commercial retail partners, ensuring chain-of-custody procedures.
• Inventory Verification: audit cargo loads prior to departure, matching manifest documentation to batches and securing sign-offs upon arrival.
• Cross-Departmental Support: assist inventory and packaging teams with order staging, vehicle loading, and intake processing when not actively on a delivery route.
• Compliance & Safety: maintain compliance with SOPs, driving safety protocols, traffic laws, and state regulatory requirements; keep vehicles clean, fueled, and inspected.

Hamilton Farms is seeking disciplined, detail-oriented Delivery Drivers to join our logistics team. This is a vital role within our facility, responsible for the final distribution stages that ensure our cannabis products are safely, securely, and efficiently transported to licensed dispensaries across New Jersey. As a member of our internal team, you will serve as a brand ambassador, contributing to a structured, high-performing environment dedicated to operational excellence and compliance.

Work Responsibilities

• Secure Transport & Delivery: Execute timely, multi-stop delivery routes to commercial retail partners, ensuring strict adherence to state-mandated chain-of-custody procedures.
• Inventory Verification: Accurately audit cargo loads prior to departure, matching manifest documentation to packaged product batches and securing sign-offs upon arrival.
• Cross-Departmental Support: Assist the inventory and packaging teams with order staging, vehicle loading, and intake processing when not actively on a delivery route.
• Compliance & Safety: Maintain continuous compliance with standard operating procedures, driving safety protocols, local traffic laws, and state regulatory requirements. Keep company delivery vehicles clean, fueled, and routinely inspected.

Compensation Model

• General Logistics & Driving (Hourly): Delivery Drivers are compensated at a competitive flat rate of $18–$20/hr (commensurate with experience) for all scheduled hours, including staging, driving, and post-route administrative tasks.

Employee Benefits

• 40 hours of Paid Sick Leave: Accrue legally protected Paid Sick Leave (accrual begins immediately; usable after 120 days of employment).
• 40 hours of PTO

Requirements

• Experience & Licensing: Must possess a valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record. Previous professional driving, route logistics, or secure transit experience is strongly preferred. Strong spatial awareness and punctuality are essential.
• Compliance: Must be 21+ and pass all state-mandated background checks, motor vehicle background screens, and fingerprinting.
• Physical Environment: Ability to drive for extended periods, navigate varying weather conditions, and frequently lift, carry, and maneuver cargo boxes up to 50 lbs.

Note: Work environment includes extended periods of sitting, driving in various weather and traffic conditions, loading/unloading cargo, bending/stooping, and navigating hard surfaces. Drivers are required to wear mandated PPE and maintain strict security protocols during transit.
